Dear Earth by Isabel Otter is a short picture story book for 4 - 7 year olds with a light environmental message about appreciating and looking after our earth. A young girl called Tessa writes a love letter to planet earth, after hearing about many wonders of nature in stories told to her by her grandfather. This is a whimsical, positive book, with letter writing as a theme and beautiful illustrations. It could form part of a letter writing lesson for key stage 1 alongside There's a Rang Tan In My Bedroom where a young girl writes campaigning letters to help save the orangutans.
