Oi! Get Off Our Train by John Burningham is a fictional picture book for 3-8 year olds. Beautifully illustrated, and joyfully subtle, the environmental message is strong yet, blends in well with the story. Trains are always a winner too! It is one of my favourites for this age range, follow the journey of a boy and his dog, travelling across the globe on their train, picking up animals on the way. Was it all a dream?
